Year 2 have learnt and performed the poem 'Harvest Moon'.

Autumn Walk

To launch our Autumn poetry unit Year 2 went on an autumn woodland walk around the school grounds. The children enjoyed finding a variety of autumnal things such as conkers, acorns, mushrooms and all the vibrant leaves which have fallen.

Year 2 had a great first week at Forest School! They enjoyed toasting their bread over the camp fire and eating its and creating art with the autumn leaves.

The children enjoyed exploring the effect of the wind on their scarves. They then learnt about the Beaufort Scale and measured the wind that day.
